Jacqueline “Jackie” McAndrews (nee Schilling) , 69, was a dedicated servant to the homeless, less fortunate, and those seeking parental guidance. She died in Runnemede, NJ on September 22, 2018. Devoted mother of Kathleen (Joseph) Barton of Somerdale, Joseph (Tina) McAndrews of Pine Hill, William (Melissa) McAndrews of Collingswood, Dorothy (Angelo) DeCaro of Runnemede, Justina (Gregory) Filinuk, and Sr. Master Sgt Jason (Jill) McAndrews of Wichita, KS. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
She was a loving mother and caregiver who raised five compassionate children whom she always taught to keep the betterment of others in mind. Jackie accumulated over 20 years of service as a Soup Kitchen Facilitator at the Camden Cathedral and devoted much of her free time assisting the underprivileged in Camden, NJ. Additionally, she was the Director of Birthright in Collingswood, NJ for many years. During that time, her drive for the development of young mothers assisted many in their decision to raise and nurture their new gifts from God. Jackie departs this world as a true warrior in the fight against cancer and a devout Catholic who will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 11:00am at New Camden Cemetery, Mt. Ephraim and Ferry Avenues, Camden, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions for Jacqueline's grave marker be made to Dorothy DeCaro c/o DuBois Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are by DuBois Funeral Home, 700 S.
